Aloha friends !
my first post on my new blog i hope you like it :)
im sitting in my amazing hostel room full of home made pizza and terrible beer trying to keep my eyes open. im traveling with my wonderful friend Trudy who i met on contiki last year and after a rough night of travel we arrived safely at around 8 am this morning unfortunately today i have been so busy doing activities to take photos to tomorrow i will!!!

trudy and i both had to get up very early thursday and fly to sydney, i had a late night playing extreme jenga so i crashed out for about an hr on the plane. after many hugs and hellos we made our way to the international departures and checked in our bags and wondered around till our flight left at 6.
we flew the budget carrier jetstar. big mistake.  when i booked my one way tix for about $500 a few months ago i thought i was getting an alright deal, i had seen at some point return deals for the same price but anyhoo.. got on the plane no worries the seats were not comfortable at all , small and they had bits of random metal sicking out the side :s i was out like a light as soon as i had sat down but i woke up as the plane took off then proceeded to not be able to sleep right up till the last 40 mins of the 10 hour flight  which i had only thought was 6 i tell you it was the longest and most uncomfortable plane right ive had. there was only a few over head tv screens that were playing some random tv show id never seen and you had to pay for ALL your food and drink :( rough! i didnt have dinner so i bought one of their hot meals ( rost beef with gravy and mash with broccoli and carrot ) and cheese and biscuits for $19. the food was actually really yummy and the service was really nice, but i wont fly them again for long haul flights.
right off to bed ill see u in the morning !
